Lepus Reborn

Long, long ago, in days of yore, there was a great hunter by the name of Orion. He was a kind man and a mighty hero, but even he had problems. Orion's problem was his never ending hatred of bunnies. So one day, after placing Orion in the stars, the gods decided to give him a giant bunny, which was also placed in the skies. This bunny was called Lepus. Great story right, but in you know I won't stop there. The reason a started this article with this old dusty myth is because a German has found a real Lepus. Take a look!This bunny here is 74cm. long, and its ears are a wopping 25.5cm. Bunnies like this can even grow to weigh 23lbs. pretty cool, huh.
